  TECSI : 5th CONTECSI

5th CONTECSI

The 5th International Conference on Information Systems and Technology Management – CONTECSI - is a groundbreaking event in its specific area, focusing on Information Systems and Technology Management under a multidisciplinary view.  There are quite many Technology events involving the use of technology tools – either technical or related to IT products trade market.  Information Technology and Information Systems events focusing management and scholarly issues are quite rare.   CONTECSI aims at putting together academics and professionals involved in IT and Systems management for a state-of-the-art discussion.

The scenario – with all specific areas isolated – our present time witnesses in this particular field calls for a holistic, integrated approach. CONTECSI will count on renowned lecturers, and will welcome papers submission for presentation and panel discussions. The purpose is to discuss the effects of Information Technology and Information Systems on Organizations and on Society as a whole, putting together a community in constant search for answers to meet the never stopping challenges in the area.  As a result of a close relationship developed with Technology and Information Management researchers along the years, foreign researchers are expected to contribute for the integration between the academic and the professional communities, thus widening the interest in research, in updated information sharing, and in the practices currently in use in the market. A CD-ROM with papers presented will be given out to attendees. Foreign personalities, professors and researchers are expected; especially from the Universities FEA/USP has agreements with.
